UAE Pro League Holds Technical Meeting for 'UAE Super Cup'

In anticipation of the highly awaited UAE Super Cup clash between Shabab Al Ahli and Sharjah, the UAE Pro League orchestrated a pivotal technical meeting on Tuesday, December 26th, 2023. The meeting, presided over by Musab AlMarzooqi, the Director of Organization Support at UAE Pro League, convened representatives from both clubs, the referees' committee, Dubai Police, the private security company, the ambulance services, and various departments of the UAE Pro League and Al Nasr club.

The focal point of the meeting was a meticulous review of the logistical, technical, organizational, and media arrangements for the upcoming spectacle, scheduled to unfold at Al Maktoum Stadium on Friday, December 29th, under the resonating slogan, "This Is Our Super."

The deliberations resulted in crucial decisions, notably the kit colors for the teams. Shabab Al Ahli will sport an all-red ensemble on the left side of the main stand, while Sharjah will dazzle in all-white on the right side.

Adhering to Article No. 15 of the UAE Super Cup regulations, if the regular time concludes in a draw, the game will seamlessly transition to penalty shootouts without extra time.

In preparation for the showdown, a pre-match press conference is slated for Thursday, December 28th, at Zakher club, featuring the head coach and a player from each club.

Gates of Al Maktoum Stadium will swing open for fans at 17:45, with designated entry points for each category:
